Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Campeus, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. If you decide to cancel your subscription, we offer prorated refunds based on the unused portion of your current billing cycle.

This policy applies to all paid subscription plans, including monthly and annual billing cycles.

2. How Refunds Work

When you cancel your subscription, you are entitled to a refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. Refunds are calculated on a prorated basis:

Prorated Refund Formula

Refund = (Remaining Days or Months / Total Days or Months) × Subscription Fee

This means you only pay for the time you actually used the service, and we refund the rest.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly billing cycles, refunds are calculated based on the number of days remaining in your billing period.

Example: Monthly Plan at $499/month

  • Cancel on Day 1: Full refund of $499
  • Cancel on Day 10 (of 30): Refund of ~$333 (20 days remaining)
  • Cancel on Day 15 (of 30): Refund of ~$250 (15 days remaining)
  • Cancel on Day 25 (of 30): Refund of ~$83 (5 days remaining)

4. Annual Subscriptions

For annual billing cycles, refunds are calculated based on the number of full months remaining in your subscription period.

Example: Annual Plan at $5,399/year

  • Cancel at start of Year: Full refund of $5,399 (12 months remaining)
  • Cancel after 3 months: Refund of ~$4,049 (9 months remaining)
  • Cancel after 6 months: Refund of ~$2,700 (6 months remaining)
  • Cancel after 9 months: Refund of ~$1,350 (3 months remaining)
  • Cancel after 11 months: Refund of ~$450 (1 month remaining)

For annual plans, we calculate refunds based on complete months. Partial months in progress are rounded to the nearest full month in your favor.

5. Refund Processing

Once you request a cancellation with refund:

  • We will calculate your prorated refund based on the date of your cancellation request
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription
  • You will receive an email confirmation with the refund amount and details

Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation and refund, you can:

  • Self-service: Cancel your subscription through your account settings in the Campeus dashboard
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to billing@campeus.com
  • Support: Contact our support team for assistance

Please include your account email and organization name in your request to help us process it quickly.

7. Access After Cancellation

When you cancel and request a refund:

  • Your access to paid features will end on the date of cancellation
  • You will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted
  • Any data exports must be requested within this 30-day window

If you prefer to continue using the service until the end of your billing period without a refund, you may choose to cancel at the end of your billing cycle instead.

8. Exceptions

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Account termination for Terms violation: If your account is terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, no refund will be issued
  • Free trial periods: No refund applies as no payment was made
  • Add-on services: One-time purchases or add-on services may have separate refund terms

9. Plan Downgrades

If you wish to downgrade to a lower-tier plan instead of canceling:

  • The difference in plan pricing will be prorated and credited to your account
  • Credits will be applied to your future billing cycles
  • Alternatively, you may request the credit difference as a refund

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes will not affect refund requests made before the update.
